Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was only fair, well below that of many models but still good enough for routine tasks like email, word processing and web browsing. Compared to other tested desktops, performance was okay but on the slow side for common tasks such as web browsing or video conferencing. You would notice this most when opening up applications. Performance was okay for light productivity but for some more demanding tasks may be very slow, particularly when calculating large data spreadsheets or using images in multiple documents, and it was slow for manipulating images, editing videos, and calculating simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. The mouse has a scroll wheel. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally. The case doesn't have an LED indicator for CD activity. The CD-eject button is hard to access.
Display: The display quality was very good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was anti-reflective, so there was little or no glare when viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB hard drive offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. Has a fast 7200RPM hard drive. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.0 for maximum performance. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. This desktop is compatible with HDMI for connecting to an HDTV.
Downsides: This desktop has fewer USB ports than others. There's no VGA video connector, or a separate adapter is required.
