    Detailed Test Results

Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was only fair, well below that of many models but still good enough for routine tasks like email, word processing and web browsing. Compared to other tested desktops, its speed was adequate for common tasks such as web browsing, video conferencing, and application startup. Performance was okay but on the slow side when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and it was slow for manipulating images, editing videos, and calculating simulations. Graphical tasks run slower among other models with only integrated graphics.

Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as volume control keys add convenience. The keys on the keyboard are slightly concave, making it more comfortable to type on. The corded mouse has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally. The case has no LED indicator for storage drive activity.

Display: The display quality was very good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was anti-reflective, so there was little or no glare when viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.

Useful features and attributes on this model include: The display is a touchscreen that allows a convenient way to interact and navigate using the screen. You can connect common external devices such as backup drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps). Video outputs include: an HDMI full-size port supporting HDMI 2.1, and supporting DisplayPort over USB-C; these are useful for connecting to an TV or separate monitor.

Downsides: This desktop has fewer USB ports than others. There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one.
