Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was good, below that of many other models but still powerful enough for tasks such as email, word processing, web browsing, streaming movies and even some gaming. Compared to other tested desktops, its speed was adequate for common tasks such as web browsing, video conferencing, and application startup. Performance was okay but on the slow side when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and its speed was adequate for manipulating filters on images, converting and editing videos, and rendering models and calculating simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop, with its included keyboard and mouse, was well-designed, and was comfortable and convenient to use. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. The mouse has a low-profile design, and has a scroll wheel. It has a popup webcam that can be hidden when not in use.
Display: The display quality was very good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB hard drive offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. Has a fast 7200RPM hard drive. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. This desktop is compatible with HDMI for connecting to an HDTV.
Downsides: This desktop has fewer USB ports than others. There's no VGA video connector, or a separate adapter is required. There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one.
