Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was good, below that of many other models but still powerful enough for tasks such as email, word processing, web browsing, streaming movies and even some gaming. Compared to other tested desktops, performance was okay but on the slow side for common tasks such as web browsing or video conferencing. You would notice this most when opening up applications. Performance was okay but on the slow side when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and it was slow for manipulating images, editing videos, and calculating simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Its features were well-designed, and it was comfortable and convenient to use. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, adding to convenience when placing them. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The mouse has a low-profile design, and has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is in a convenient location that is unlikely to be pressed accidentally.
Display: The display quality was Very Good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was brighter than most, a plus for viewing in bright indoor lighting. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB of hard drive space offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. Has a fast 7200RPM speed on the primary hard drive, where the OS is stored. The display is a touchscreen that allows a convenient way to interact and navigate using the screen. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.1 for maximum performance. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. Video outputs include: an HDMI full-size port; these are useful for connecting to an HDTV or separate monitor.
Downsides: There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one.
