Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was poor, well below that of many other models and you may notice slowdowns in such things as boot-up, application launching, and video editing. Compared to other tested desktops, performance was okay for common tasks such as web browsing or video conferencing, but may be very slow for more demanding tasks. You would notice this most particularly when opening up applications or during group video conferences. Performance was okay for light productivity but for some more demanding tasks may be very slow, particularly when calculating large data spreadsheets or using images in multiple documents, and it was so slow that it was difficult to manipulate images, edit videos, and calculate simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop, with its included keyboard and mouse, had well-designed features that made it comfortable or convenient to use. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. The keys on the keyboard are slightly concave, making it more comfortable to type on. The mouse has a low-profile design, and has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the hard drive. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally. The case doesn't have LED indicators for hard disk/CD activity.
Display: The display quality was very good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was anti-reflective, so there was little or no glare when viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB hard drive offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. Has fast 802.11ac WiFi. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.0 for maximum performance. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. This desktop is compatible with HDMI for connecting to an HDTV.
Downsides: This desktop has fewer USB ports than others. There's no VGA video connector, or a separate adapter is required.
