Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was only fair, well below that of many models but still good enough for routine tasks like email, word processing and web browsing. Compared to other tested desktops, performance was okay but on the slow side for common tasks such as web browsing or video conferencing. You would notice this most when opening up applications. Performance was okay but on the slow side when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and it was so slow that it was difficult to manipulate images, edit videos, and calculate simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Its features were well-designed, and it was comfortable and convenient to use. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The keys on the keyboard are slightly concave, making it more comfortable to type on. The mouse has a low-profile design, and has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally. The case has no LED indicator for hard disk activity. The CD-eject button is inconveniently placed.
Display: The display quality was Very Good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was anti-reflective, so there was little or no glare when viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a narrow viewing angle, so you'll have limited flexibility in how to position the screen for optimal viewability for one user, and it will be difficult for more than one person to look at the screen at the same time.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB of hard drive space offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. The display is a touchscreen that allows a convenient way to interact and navigate using the screen. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.0 for maximum performance. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. Video outputs include: an HDMI full-size port; these are useful for connecting to an HDTV or separate monitor.
Downsides: This desktop has fewer USB ports than others.
