Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was very good. Compared to other tested desktops, it was fast for common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing. Applications start up quickly. Speed was adequate when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and other productivity tasks, and its speed was adequate for manipulating filters on images, converting and editing videos, and rendering models and calculating simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is wireless, adding to convenience when placing it but the mouse is corded. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The keys on the keyboard are slightly concave, making it more comfortable to type on. The corded mouse has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is in a convenient location that is unlikely to be pressed accidentally. The case has no LED indicator for storage drive activity.
Display: The display quality was Very Good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was anti-reflective, so there was little or no glare when viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation. Its display produces a wider array of colors and has better contrast than on most other tested all-in-ones, which can help add realism to videos or slideshows.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: You can connect common external devices such as backup drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps). Video outputs include: an HDMI full-size port supporting HDMI 2.1; these are useful for connecting to an TV or separate monitor.
Downsides: There is no memory-card reader, so you'll need to buy an external reader or connect your digital camera directly to this desktop to transfer photos. This desktop has fewer USB ports than others. There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one.
