Overall this model was very easy to use, not as accurate as most models for counting steps, and good at measuring heart-rate accuracy. With recent version iPhones, our experts found it very easy to pair, very easy to interact with, and likewise for recent version Android phones, very easy to pair, very easy to attach to the body, and very easy to recharge the battery. In our water immersion test it passed the manufacturer's claim of 164 feet for 10 minutes.

The Polar Pacer Pro is a watch based fitness tracker with a 1.2 inch color memory-in-pixel (MIP) LCD display, real-time heart rate monitor, steps, sleep tracking and calories estimation. The display has a backlight for use at night and the manufacturer claims a battery life of 7 days. It has it has the following sensors: GPS, heart-rate monitor, barometer, magnetometer compass and accelerometer. It has notifications for calls, texts and email. It includes inactivity alerts which remind you to move if you are sitting for a long time. It has Connected GPS which can control playback of music from your smartphone. It does not have food tracking, but has food and drink alerts to remind you to eat and drink. Included accessories: wristbands (two size options included), USB charging cable and user manual. Its dimensions are 1.8 x 0.5 inches (width/thickness) and it weighs 1.4 ounces.
