Overall this model was somewhat easy to use, somewhat accurate for counting steps, and very good at measuring heart-rate accuracy. With recent version iPhones, our experts found it somewhat easy to pair, very easy to interact with, and likewise for recent version Android phones, somewhat easy to pair, and very easy to interact with. It is very easy to attach to the body, somewhat easy to recharge the battery and in our water immersion test it passed the manufacturer's claim of 164 feet.

The Withings Pulse HR is a band based fitness tracker with a 0.8 inch monochrome touchscreen OLED display, real-time heart-rate monitor, steps, sleep, and calories. The manufacturer claims a very long battery life of 20 days. It is available in one size with adjustable strap, quick release wristbands and comes in colors black, gray and red. It has the following sensors: MEMS 3-axis accelerometer, optical heart-rate monitor and a light sensor. It has notifications for calls, texts and calendar events. It has socialization features: goals, badges, competitions with friends and family and provides insights to motivate toward goals. It has extra features such as: female health tracking and a progress bar tracks daily activity goals. It comes with a USB magnetic charging cable. Its dimensions are 0.7 x 0.4 inches (width/thickness) and it weighs 1.2 ounces.
