This Bluetooth wireless noise canceling portable ear-insert model provides good sound and excellent active noise reduction. Its ear plug-like design and electronic noise canceling feature reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The headphones work with or without the noise canceling feature being turned on. You can use the noise-canceling feature without listening to music. The ComfoBuds Mini True has a volume control plus an integrated microphone and player function controls. Sound quality:

We found the ComfoBuds Mini True delivers sound quality that falls in the good range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound and excellent active noise reduction. With the noise cancelling mode engaged and set to "Strong" in the 1More app (default mode) the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes fairly deep but is somewhat prominent and boomy, and may sound a bit distorted (warbles - sounds like it is underwater) with some program material. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is uneven with a mid-midrange peak, but is somewhat grainy, hazy, dark, and congested (think sonic traffic jam), has a bit of a plastic resonance (something like what you would hear if you talked into a semi-rigid plastic cup), and depending on the program material can be a bit crowded by the bass. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but the lower treble is somewhat subdued while the upper treble is a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying) and smeared, and a touch prominent. While the sound has a decent sense of liveliness, it is closed (sound-wise it's fairly obvious you have something plugging your ears) and does a decent job of recovering room ambience in the lower-to-mid midrange, but is only so-so throughout the rest of the tonal range.
