Sound quality:We found the OpenRun Pro Mini delivers sound quality that falls in the fair range - meaning that it has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog and communication. This model has two tone settings; the Standard tone setting was used. What little bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) it had was very subdued and lacked impact and depth. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) lacks body (the lower midrange is subdued), was congested (think sonic traffic jam), and somewhat muffled and nasal. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) lacked extension and was subdued. The sound also has a decent sense of liveliness and is open--sound-wise it seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears but it doesn't do a good job of recovering room ambience from recordings. It has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open. Warmish character. The overall sound can be summarized as telephone-like. The other tone setting had a slight effect on the sound; in the vocal booster mode the bass was a bit more subdued.
Comfort and Fit:We found that users with small to medium sized heads will probably find that they produce a slight sense of pressure in front of the ears, users with larger heads may find they produce a medium sense of pressure in front of the ears and may actually pull back on the front of the ears uncomfortably, especially if the users lift their heads such as when looking up.
Fits securely even with vigorous head movement.
When played at its loudest volume a vibration can be felt that might feel like an electric shock.
Smal/Medium
Users with small to medium sized heads will probably find that the neckband is generally not noticeable unless it interferes with clothing, hair, headwear.
Large
Users with larger heads may find that the neckband makes contact with the back if their heads or necks, especially when they lift their heads such as when looking up.
