Sound quality:We found the ARC II SPORT delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. With the Cleer+ app Equalizer set to flat and Smart Sports EQ set to "off" (as received state of the earphone) the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is a touch prominent and boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is a bit grainy, hazy, congested (think sonic traffic jam), and the upper midrange is a bit prominent. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but is somewhat smeared and the upper treble is somewhat subdued. The sound also has a decent sense of liveliness and is open--sound-wise it seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears and does a decent job of recovering room ambience in the midrange. Warmish character. The overall sound can be summarized as fairly even and a bit grainy, hazy, and congested. The tone settings of the app do have a noticeable effect on the sound of these earphones.
Comfort and Fit:We found that these earphones produce a sense of light pressure on the ears.
Some users may find that the earphones feel a bit heavy.
