Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless portable bone conduction model provides mediocre sound. Its open-air design doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing the headphones.
Additional features include:
Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control. Built-in MP3 player with 8GB storage (holds approx. 2000 songs for playback), manufacturer claims suitable for swimming, waterproof to 3.6 meters for an unlimited time.
Sound quality:We found the Audio - TRI 2 PRO Multi-Sport with Playlist+ delivers sound quality that falls in the mediocre range - meaning that it has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog and communication. What little bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) it had was subdued and lacked impact and depth. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) was somewhat hazy, congested (think sonic traffic jam) and thin and a bit grainy, a touch nasal and sibilant. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is fairly extended, but is somewhat sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying) and a bit prominent and smeared. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. It has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open. Good dynamics. Neutral to coolish character. The overall sound can be summarized as telephone-like.
Comfort and Fit:There is a slight sense of pressure in front of the ears. Stays in place with no problems for casual use; some users may find that it shift a bit during vigorious head movements.
When played at its loudest volume a vibration can be felt that might feel like an electric shock.
Small to Medium
Users with small to medium sized heads will probably find that the neckband is generally not noticeable unless it interferes with clothing, hair, headwear.
Large
Users with larger heads may find that the neckband makes contact with the back of their heads or necks, especially when they lift their heads such as when looking up .
