Design and features:Although this Bluetooth wireless portable ear-insert model lacks active noise reduction, the earplug-like design helps to reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The Synchros Reflect BT has an integrated microphone, plus built-in volume, player function, and call connect/disconnect controls. Additional features include a reflective, colored cable, a cable-length adjuster, and earphones that can clip together magnetically which allows them to be hung securely around the neck to keep them from getting lost when not in use. This model claims to be moisture/sweat resistant, and comes with three pairs of earpieces of various sizes, plus a USB charging cable.
Sound quality: The Synchros Reflect BT delivers good overall sound, with a character that is generally warm but leans toward neutral in the treble. Bass goes deep but is very pronounced, has excessive impact, and is very boomy. Midrange is hazy, grainy, constricted, and can be overwhelmed by the bass. Lower and mid-treble are pronounced, while upper treble rolled off. The overall sound is closed in, with decent dynamics.
Comfort: We found that these earphones produce a sense of pressure in the ear opening that might be uncomfortable for some. Once seated, the ear bowl support pieces hold the earphones stable under most conditions. However, if the connecting band is placed behind the head and tightened, vigorous head movement can cause the earpieces to shift, which can affect the sound quality.
