Design and features:The Reflect Mini 2 has an integrated microphone and volume, music player, and call connect/disconnect controls for use with paired Bluetooth devices. Additional features include a reflective neck cable for increased low light visibility and support for Apple Siri and Google Assistant digital voice assistants when it is used with Bluetooth devices that have those capabilities. This model is claimed by the manufacturer to be water resistant and comes with three pairs of ear pieces in various sizes, three pairs of ear bowl supports, a USB charging cable, and a carrying case.
Sound quality: We found the Reflect Mini 2 delivers sound quality that falls in the Very Good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The overall sound can be summarized as somewhat bassy and a bit lean. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is somewhat boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is a bit lean, soft, hazy, and grainy. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is fairly extended, but is slightly smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound blurred). While the sound has a decent sense of liveliness it is somewhat closed-in (sound-wise it is somewhat obvious that you have something plugging your ears).
Comfort: As typical of in-ear models they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening might be uncomfortable for some. They fit and stay in place with no problems, and the ear bowl support earpieces make the fit very stable even during vigorous head movements. The sound of the earphone connecting cable rubbing on clothing may be transmitted by the earphones.
