Sound quality: We found the Vibe 300TWS delivers sound quality that falls in the good range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound. The sound of these earphones is very dependent on how they sit in the ears. In the position they tend to gravitate to the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has decent impact, is a bit subdued, and deep bass is lacking. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is grainy and a bit thin, etched and congested. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but is somewhat prominent and sizzly. The sound also has a good sense of liveliness and is open--sound-wise it seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears, but only do a so-so job of recovering room ambience. Cool character. The overall sound can best be summarized as thin and grainy. With careful positioning the sound improves. At their best the bass has good impact, but is a bit prominent and boomy and deep bass is still lacking. The midrange is fairly even, but is somewhat grainy and a bit congested. The treble is extended, but is a touch subdued and a bit smeared. They remain open sounding and do a decent job of recovering room ambience. Good dynamics. The character becomes mixed -warmish bass with neutral midrange and treble. The overall sound can best be summarized as fairly even and somewhat grainy. While the sound is improved, it is unlikely that the user will be able to benefit from this for long - the earphones do not reliably stay in the optimum position.
Comfort: We found that these earphones produce no pressure in ear canal. Users with small sized ear bowls will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use, they won't fall out even during vigorous head movement, and they are unobtrusive so it's easy to forget they are being worn, however, the position they naturally gravitate to in the ear may not provide the best sound quality, they are finicky to position for better sound quality, and they tend not to maintain any position other than the one they naturally fall to. Users with medium and larger sized ear bowls will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use, they won't fall out even during vigorous head movement, and they are unobtrusive so it's easy to forget they are being worn, however, the position they naturally gravitate to in the ear may not provide the best sound quality, they are finicky to position for better sound quality, and they tend not to maintain any position other than the one they naturally fall to. Incidental contact with the touch controls can cause unintentional playing and pausing. Hitting the stem that hangs out of the ear can knock an earphone lose and cause it to fall out of the ear.
