Design and features:These earphones have an integrated microphone and volume, music player function, and call connect/disconnect controls for use with paired Bluetooth devices. This model comes with two pairs of ear pieces in various sizes and a USB charging cable.
Sound quality: We found the Gumy Wireless HA-F250BT delivers sound quality that falls in the fair range, meaning that it has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog and communication. The overall sound can best be summarized as thin, plasticy, and sometimes piercing. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has so-so impact, but is subdued and doesn't go deep. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is congested (think sonic traffic jam), somewhat grainy, has a noticable plastic resonance (something like what you would hear if you talked into a semi-rigid plastic cup), and can be piercing with some program material. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound blurred ) and the upper treble is muted. The sound has an exaggerated sense of liveliness and is closed-in -- sound-wise it is obvious that you have something partially plugging up your ears.
Comfort: These earphones are a hybrid ear insert/ear bud design - the earpieces are supported by ear bowls like a ear bud model and they insert slightly into the ear canals but they don't seal them like a typical ear insert model. They stay in the earbowl with no problem, but depending on the earbowl size and shape some users might find them difficult to position for the best sound quality.
