Design and features:The EB300 has an integrated microphone and Bluetooth volume, music player function, and call connect/disconnect controls. The manufacturer also claims it's water resistant. This model comes with three pairs of ear pieces of various sizes, a removable cable shortening clip, a USB charging cable, and a carrying case.
Sound quality: We found the EB300 delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The overall sound can best be summarized as bass heavy, somewhat soft and slightly muted. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is prominent, boomy, and a bit soft. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even, but somewhat soft and slightly congested (think sonic traffic jam). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but subdued. While the sound has a good sense of liveliness, it is somewhat closed-in -- sound-wise it is somewhat obvious that you have something plugging up your ears.
Comfort: We found that these earphones produce a sense of pressure in the opening that might be uncomfortable for some, that it may take a fair amount of fiddling to get the earpieces seated properly, and that the body of the earphone may get in the way of proper fit and stability for users with smaller earbowls. For those who don't experience earbowl fit problems, the ear hooks make the fit very stable, even with vigorous head movement.
