Sound quality: We found the T5 II True Wireless delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. With the Klipsch Connect app EQ set to off/Flat (as received state of the earphones) and the ambient sound monitoring disengaged the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is slightly prominent and boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even and a bit grainy and hazy. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but is a bit smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound blurred), and a touch prominent. The sound also has a good sense of liveliness and is somewhat open--sound-wise it almost seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears and does a decent job of recovering room ambience. Warmish character. The overall sound can best be summarized as a slightly bassy, grainy, and hazy. The EQ settings of the app do have a noticeable effect on the sound of these headphones.
Comfort: We found that these earphones as typical of in-ear models produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening that might be uncomfortable for some. Users with small ear bowls might find that the earphone body does not fit securely into their earbowl and that the earphones are mostly held in place by the section of the earphone that is inserted in the ear canal. Users with medium and larger sized ear bowls will probably find that this model stays in place for casual use, but it does not feel particularly secure. Some users might find pushing the control buttons to actuate the functions drives the earphones farther into the ear canal and may cause ear discomfort.
