Design and features:These earphones have medium-high sensitivity, so they can provide satisfying volume levels when used with home audio equipment and even lower-powered portable audio devices. The M6 PRO features over-the-ear cable routing and the manufacturer claims it is water resistant. This model comes with seven pairs of ear pieces in various sizes and types, a detachable 53-inch long standard audio cable, a detachable 54-inch long audio cable with built-in mic, volume control, and call answer/music player control button for iPhone/iPod/iPad and smartphone use, a removable shirt clip, a mini-plug-to-1/4-inch-plug adapter, and a carrying case.
Sound quality: We found the M6 PRO delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range: It reproduces music and voice very well, although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The overall sound can best be summarized as slightly bassy and a bit washed out and coarse. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes fairly deep, but is slightly prominent and somewhat boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) lacks fullness and is a bit washed-out, constricted (think straightjacketed), congested (as in a sonic traffic jam), and grainy. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but is somewhat prominent and smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound slightly blurred). While the sound has a good sense of liveliness, it is somewhat closed-in (sound-wise, it is somewhat obvious that you have something plugging up your ears).
Comfort: We found that these earphones fit and stay in place with no problem and once the ear hooks are adjusted the earpieces are very stable even with vigorous head movement, but they produce a sense of pressure in the ear opening that might be uncomfortable for some.
