Sound quality:We found the Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones delivers sound quality that is near bottom range - meaning that it has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog and communication. When positioned to provide its best sound quality what little bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) it had was very subdued and lacked impact and depth. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is grainy, congested (think sonic traffic jam), and somewhat thin and nasal. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, a bit prominent and somewhat smeared. The sound lacks liveliness and does a so-so job of recovering room ambience from the midrange tonal region of recordings. It has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open. Coolish character. The overall sound can be summarized as telephone-like.
Comfort and Fit:There is a slight to moderate sense of pressure in front of the ears depending on the users head size and shape.
Although it is unlikely to shake loose during vigorous head movements this model tends not to stay in its optimum position even during casual use.
This model does not play loud to begin with; with less than optimal positioning the maximum volume is even lower, the bass becomes more subdued, and the left to right volume level may become unbalanced.
When played at its highest volume a vibration may be felt that might feel like an electric shock.
The neckband is generally not noticeable unless it interferes with clothing, hair, or headwear.
Users with larger heads may find that the neckband makes contact with the back if their heads or necks, especially when they lift their heads such as when looking up.
