Design and features:These are Bluetooth wireless portable on-ear models. Its non-isolating design doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing these earphones.
Additional features:Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control. Skullcandy app download for Apple and Android mobile devices adds additional features and software updates.
Sound quality:We found the Push 720 delivers sound quality that falls in the acceptable range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound. The
bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes fairly deep (depending on fit can be a touch prominent and boomy). The
midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even but is somewhat grainy and a touch congested (think sonic traffic jam). The
treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but is a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying). Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The sound also has a good sense of liveliness and is open--sound-wise it seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open. Neutral character. The overall sound can best be summarized as somewhat grainy and a bit sizzly.
Comfort and Fit:These earcuff styled earphones have a unique design - they clip around the lower part of the outer ear near the lobe which holds the earphone against the back of the earbowl , with the sound being directed toward the ear canal. As such they do not produce any pressure in the ear canal, but the user may have to fiddle a bit to get them into place and to find the position that provides the best sound quality.
Small
Users with smaller ears will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use, that they are very stable even during vigorous head movement, and many may find that they are unobtrusive so it's easy to forget they are being worn.
Medium
Users with medium sized ears will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use, that they are very stable even during vigorous head movement, and many may find that they are unobtrusive so it's easy to forget they are being worn.
Large
Users with larger ears will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use and that they are fairly stable even during vigorous head movement, but some may find that this model squeezes their outer ear and puts pressure on the back of the ears where the clip/cuff presses, and if it does it may be more noticeable when the user turns their head.
Tech note: even though this is a unique non-isolating design, it does not radiate a lot of sound that can be heard by bystanders and is no better or worse than other non-isolating models in this regard.
