    Detailed Test Results

    Design and features:

These headphones lack active noise reduction, the ear plug-like design helps to reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The Sesh Evo has a volume control plus an integrated microphone and player function controls and integrated call connect/disconnect controls. Additional features include Has EQ mode that can be switched between three different tonal presets. Charging/carrying case has built-in rechargeable battery that the manufacturer claims can be used to recharge the earphone batteries a bit less than 4 times (to add an additional 19 hrs. for a total of 24 hrs. of playtime). Either earpiece can be used alone for one ear monitoring of Bluetooth streamed audio and telephone communications. Supports compatible digital voice assistants when used with devices products that have those features. Earphones also have a quick-charge feature, where 10 minutes of charging will provide 2 hours of audio playback. Bluetooth connected Apple mobile devices using iOS Version 5 and above will show the battery level. Has built in Tile tracker feature; once they are registered with Tile if the earpieces are lost they can be located via the free Tile app download for Apple and Android mobile devices. This model comes with Three pairs of ear pieces in various types and sizes, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, charging cradle/recharger battery/carrying case.

    Sound quality:

We found the Sesh Evo delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. With the EQ set to Music mode the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is somewhat prominent and boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even, but is somewhat grainy and dark (there is an opaqueness that covers up fine detail), and a bit hazy. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is fairly extended but is somewhat subdued and smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound blurred). Somewhat closed sounding and does a decent job of recovering room ambience (the sense of the acoustic space in which the audio program that's being listened to was recorded). Warm character. The overall sound can be summarized as somewhat bassy, grainy and dark. The various EQ settings do have a noticeable effect on the sound of these earphones.

    Comfort and Fit:
Ass typical of in-ear models they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening that might be uncomfortable for some. Users with small ear bowls might find that the earphone body feels a bit bulky in their earbowl and while this model stays in place for casual use and feels secure it sticks out a bit and feels like it might get levered out of place. Users with medium sized ear bowls will probably find that this model fits and stays in place with no problems for casual use and that they are very stable even during vigorous head movement. Some users might find pushing the control buttons to actuate the functions drives the earphones farther into the ear bowl and may cause ear discomfort.
