Design and features:The Sesh has integrated microphones, and volume, music player, and call connect/disconnect controls for paired Bluetooth devices. Additional features include a left earpiece that can be used alone for one ear monitoring of Bluetooth streamed audio and telephone communications, and support for Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant digital voice assistants when used with Bluetooth devices that have those features. This model is claimed to be dust and water resistant, and comes with three pairs of ear pieces in various sizes, a USB charging cable, and a charging cradle/recharger battery/carrying case that the manufacturer claims can be used to recharge the earphone batteries up to a bit more than twice between its own charges.
Sound quality: We found the Sesh delivers sound quality that falls in the Very Good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The overall sound can be summarized as somewhat bassy and grainy. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is somewhat prominent and boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even, but is somewhat grainy and a bit hazy and a touch etched (a bit more sharply outlined then it should be). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is fairly extended but is somewhat smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound blurred), and the upper treble is a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying). This model does a decent job of recovering the room ambience of a recording (the sense of the acoustic space in which the audio program that's being listened to was recorded). While the sound has a decent sense of liveliness, it is somewhat closed (sound-wise it's fairly obvious you have something plugging your ears).
Comfort: As typical of in-ear models they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening might be uncomfortable for some. Users with small ear bowls might find that the earphone body feels a bit bulky in their ear bowl, and that while this model stays in place for casual use and feels secure, it sticks out a bit and feels like it might be prone to being knocked loose. Users with medium and large sized ear bowls will probably find that this model fits and stays in place with no problems for casual use and that they are very stable even during vigorous head movement. Some uses might find pushing the control buttons to actuate the functions drives the earphones farther into the ear bowl and may cause ear discomfort. The fit of this model can noticeably effect its sound quality - if the earpieces are pushed deep in the ear canals the sound becomes more bassy and a bit muffled.
