Design and features:The WFXB700 has integrated microphones and volume, music player, and call connect/disconnect controls for paired Bluetooth devices. Additional features include support for Google Assistant and Apple Siri digital voice assistants when used with Bluetooth connected devices that have those features, and manufacturer claimed water resistance. This model comes with four pairs of ear pieces in various sizes, a USB charging cable, and a charging cradle/recharger battery/carrying case with a built-in rechargeable battery that the manufacturer claims can be used to recharge the earphone batteries up to 2 times between its own charges.
Sound quality: We found the WFXB700 delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is boomy and somewhat prominent. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is a touch thin, somewhat grainy, and bit a hazy and etched (a bit more sharply outlined then it should be). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but is a bit prominent and sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying). While the sound has a good sense of liveliness, it is somewhat closed (sound-wise it's fairly obvious you have something plugging your ears) and does a decent job of recovering room ambience (the sense of the acoustic space in which the audio program that's being listened to was recorded). Good dynamics. Mixed character - warm bass with a coolish midrange and treble. The overall sound can be summerized as bassy with a somewhat grainy and lean midrange.
Comfort: As typical of in-ear models they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening that might be uncomfortable for some; this model sticks out of the ears more than many of this type and are more prone to being inadvertently knocked loose. Users with small and medium ear bowls might find that the earphone body feels a bit bulky in their earbowl, but that they will generally stay in place during casual use. Users with larger sized ear bowls will probably find that this model fits and stays in place with no problems, but may not stay in place during vigorous head movement.
