Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless portable earbud model provides very good sound. Its non-isolating design doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing these earphones.
Additional features include:
Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control. Either earphone can be used alone for one ear monitoring of Bluetooth streamed audio and telephone communications. Free Soundcore app for Apple and Android mobile devices adds additional features.
Sound quality:We found the AeroFit 2 delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. With the Soundcore app Equalizer set to Soundcore Signature (as received state of the earphone) the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact, but is a bit to somewhat prominent and boomy (depending on fit) and goes fairly deep. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is a bit grainy, hazy and congested (think sonic traffic jam) and a touch sibilant. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but is a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying) and a touch smeared and a bit prominent. While the sound has a good sense of liveliness, It has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open and does a decent job of recovering room ambience. Mixed character; warmish bass, neutral midrange and coolish treble. The overall sound can be summarized as somewhat bassy and a bit grainy and hazy. The tone settings of the app do have a noticeable effect on the sound of these earphones.
Comfort and Fit:There is a sense of light pressure on the ears.
Tech Note: due to its unique positioning design some users may find they have to fiddle with this feature when putting on the headphones.
