Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless portable earbud model provides mediocre sound. Its non-isolating design doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing these earphones.
Additional features include:
Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control.
Either earphone can be used alone for one ear monitoring of Bluetooth streamed audio and telephone communications. Free Soundcore app for Apple and Android mobile devices adds additional features.
Sound quality:We found the AeroFit delivers sound quality that falls in the mediocre range - meaning that it has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog and communication. With the Soundcore app EQ set to Soundcore Signature the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has poor impact, and is a bit subdued and doesn't go deep. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is somewhat grainy, hazy and congested (think sonic traffic jam) and bit plasticky. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but is somewhat smeared and sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying) and depending on fit it can be a bit to somewhat prominent. The sound also has a weak sense of liveliness and is open--sound-wise it seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears and does a so-so job of recovering room ambience; it has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open. Mixed character; neutral bass and midrange, and coolish treble which may depend on positioning on ear. The overall sound can be summarized as somewhat hazy and congested and grainy. The tone settings of the app do have a noticeable effect on the sound of these headphones which may allow adjustments to personal preference.
Comfort and Fit:Most may find that this model renders no pressure in the ear canal.
