Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless portable earbud model provides very good sound. Its non-isolating design doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing these earphones. Sound quality: We found the Soundcore Life Note 3S delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. With the Soundcore app equalizer set to Soundcore Signature (default), the bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes fairly deep, but is a touch boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even, but is a somewhat grainy, a bit hazy, and a touch etched. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but is a touch prominent and a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying) and smeared. The sound also has a good sense of liveliness and is somewhat open--sound-wise it almost seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears and does a decent job of recovering room ambience. Neutral character. The overall sound can be summarized as fairly even, but somewhat grainy. The Soundcore App tonal presets and EQ adjustments have a noticeable effect on the sound.
Comfort: We found that these earphones produce no pressure in the ear canal. Users will probably find that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use, they are stable even during fairly vigorous head movement, and they are unobtrusive so it's easy to forget they are being worn. Hitting the stem that hangs out of the ear can knock an earphone lose and cause it to fall out of the ear, but the short stems of this model make it less prone to being knocked lose then then models of this type with longer stems.
