Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless portable bone conduction model provides mediocre sound quality. Its open-air design doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing the headphones.
Additional features include:
Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control.
Sound quality:We found the Sonic delivers sound quality that falls in the mediocre range - meaning that it has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog and communication. This model has two listening settings; the indoor listening setting was used (default setting). What little bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) it had was very subdued and lacked impact and depth. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) was hazy, congested (think sonic traffic jam), somewhat thin and a touch nasal. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) was fairly extended, but somewhat subdued and a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying). The sound also has a decent sense of liveliness and has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open and it does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. Neutral character. The overall sound can be summarized as telephone-like. The other tone setting provided more volume.
Comfort and Fit:We found that these earphones produce a slight sense of pressure in front of the ears. It stays in place with no problems for casual use; some users may find that it shift a bit during vigorous head movements.
When played at its loudest volume a vibration can be felt that might feel like an electric shock (but it's not).
Small to Medium
Users with small to medium sized heads will probably find that the neckband is generally not noticeable unless it interferes with clothing, hair, headwear.
Large
Users with larger heads may find that the neckband makes contact with the back of their heads or necks, especially when they lift their heads such as when looking up .
