Design and features:These earphones have very high sensitivity so they can provide satisfying volume levels when used with home audio equipment and even lower powered portable audio devices. This model comes with ten pairs of ear pieces in various types and sizes, a detachable 49-inch audio cable, and a carrying case.
Sound quality: We found the AM PRO 20 delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The overall sound can best be summarized as sterile. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and decent detail, but doesn't go deep. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is a bit thin and constricted (think straightjacketed). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended, but slightly subdued. The sound has a decent sense of liveliness and is somewhat open--sound-wise it almost seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears.
Comfort: It takes a bit of fumbling to get the ear pieces seated and the earhooks in place, but once done they fit and stay in place with no problems for users with average or large ear bowls, and once the earhooks are adjusted the ear pieces are very stable even with vigorous head movement. The shape and/or size of the earphone body may pose fit problems for users with small ear bowls that might affect the fit and/or the sound quality. As typical of in-ear models we found that they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening that might be uncomfortable for some.
