Design and features:This portable earbud model doesn't have active noise reduction, but its earplug-like design helps to reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The earphones have high sensitivity, so they can provide satisfying volume levels when used with home audio equipment and even lower-powered portable audio devices. This model comes with three pairs of earpieces in various sizes and a mini-plug-to-1/4-inch plug adapter.

Sound quality: We found the EPH-50 delivers good overall sound with a warm character. The slightly pronounced bass has decent impact but lacks definition; deep bass is lacking. The midrange is slightly soft and lacks detail, and treble is slightly recessed and softened. Overall sound is slightly closed in, with so-so dynamics.

Comfort: We found that these earphones fit and stay in place with no problems; the fit is more like an in-ear than an earbud, so the sense of pressure in the ear opening might be uncomfortable for some.
