Overall this model was somewhat easy to use, somewhat accurate for counting steps, and good at measuring heart-rate accuracy. With recent version smartphones, our experts found it very easy to pair, somewhat easy to interact with, and very easy to connect to charger. The watch face was very good in our scratch resistance hardness test. It passed our water immersion test at 98 feet for 10 minutes.

The Fossil Hybrid HR (42mm) is a smartwatch compatible with iOS and Android and includes real-time heart rate monitor, steps, sleep and calories. Has always-on display capability, wireless magnetic charging dock, phone notifications, vibration alerts, and includes inactivity alerts that remind you to move if you are sitting for a long time. It has a find my phone feature and find my watch feature. Has Connected music (can control playback of music stored on your smartphone). It can accept phone calls on the watch, dismiss phone calls from the watch, manufacturer offers changeable straps, and weather at-wrist. Has current temperature at your location, time zones, and customizable buttons for stopwatch and count-down timer. You can tap the display twice and LEDs light the screen for low light situations. Has a classic hybrid design combining a digital display with rotating analog watch hands so if you flick your wrist the hands rotate 360 degrees so you can see information that may have been blocked on the screen. It has multi-sport tracking features: run, cycle, hike, walk, treadmill, elliptical, weights, row machine, spin and workouts. Its dimensions are 2 x 1.8 x 0.5 inches (LxWxD) and it weighs 2.5 ounces.
