Overall this model was very easy to use, somewhat accurate for counting steps, and excellent at measuring heart-rate accuracy. With recent version smartphones, our experts found it somewhat easy to pair, very easy to interact with, and very easy to connect to charger. The watch face was very good in our scratch resistance hardness test. In our water immersion test it passed the manufacturer's claim of 164 feet for 10 minutes.

The Garmin Venu is a smartwatch compatible with iOS and Android and includes real-time heart rate monitor, steps, sleep, and calories. It has a touchscreen display with 390 x 390 screen resolution, always-on display capability, on-screen battery indicator, and a wireless non-magnetic charging dock. It has phone notifications, vibration alerts, and inactivity alerts that remind you to move if you are sitting for a long time. It has a find my phone and find my watch feature, can control playback of music stored on your smartphone or on your watch. It can accept and dismiss phone calls from the watch. Has WiFi, Standalone GPS and NFC. The manufacturer offers changeable straps and weather at-wrist. It is compatible with optional sensors: Foot Pod, Bike Speed, and Golf Club. It has an underwater wrist-based heart-rate sensor, and can navigate to a saved location and then back to where you started from. It has multi-sport tracking features: walking, running, biking, swimming, and seventeen more selectable from the watch. Its dimensions are 1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches (LxWxD) and it weighs 1.6 ounces.
