Overall this model was very easy to use, somewhat accurate for counting steps, and very good at measuring heart-rate accuracy. With recent version smartphones, our experts found it very easy to pair, very easy to interact with, and very easy to connect to charger. The watch face was very good in our scratch resistance hardness test. In our water immersion test it passed the manufacturer's claim of 164 feet for 10 minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 (40mm) is a smartwatch compatible with iOS and Android and includes real-time heart rate monitor, steps, sleep, and calories. It has a touchscreen display with 360 x 360 screen resolution, always-on display capability, on-screen battery indicator, and a wireless magnetic charging dock. It has phone notifications with vibration and sound alerts, a find my phone and find my watch feature. It can control playback of music stored on your smartphone or watch. It can accept and dismiss phone calls from the watch. Has WiFi, Standalone GPS and NFC. It has a Touch sensitivity feature to use the touchscreen while wearing gloves (depending on the type of gloves, the touchscreen might not recognize your touch and the feature may not activate), guided breathing, handwriting feature, auto workout tracking, detects up to seven exercises and tracks thirty-nine more, alerts you if it detects an irregular heart beat, interchangeable bands, weather at-wrist, and customizable watch faces. It can be recharged wirelessly by placing the watch on Qi compatible Samsung devices including a smartphone and can withstand a drop from 4.9 feet (claimed). It has multi-sport tracking features: running, walking, cycling, swimming, treadmill, exercise bike, weight machine, and circuit training. Its dimensions are 1.7 x 1.6 x 0.5 inches (LxWxD) and it weighs 1.7 ounces.
