Sound quality: Klipsch's Heritage Groove had Good overall sound quality. The bass has so-so impact, is somewhat subdued, and doesn't go deep. The midrange is fairly even but somewhat grainy and hazy. The treble is somewhat subdued and smeared, and a touch sizzly. It overall does a so-so job of recovering room ambience; and is somewhat congested. Its a monophonic speaker. No significant difference between wired and Bluetooth sound quality. Although it can provide a decent volume in a medium sized room, it sounds a bit strained at higher volumes, so it is better suited for smaller rooms and near field listening.
Ease of use: We found the Klipsch Heritage Groove ease of use to be Very Good overall. Bluetooth: Unit requires a long press of an ambiguously marked multifunction button (Bluetooth), shows a pairing mode indicator and indicates when pairing has occurred. The volume controls are +/- buttons which have a visual indicator when max volume is reached. Works with line in and Bluetooth inputs. Source selection involves separate buttons for Bluetooth and Aux inputs with good contrast, and a persistent color coded light indication on unit.
