Sound quality: Soundcore's 3 had mediocre overall sound quality - this model has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialogue. Bass has decent impact but is a bit subdued and boomy and the deep bass is lacking and depending on content compression may increase or decrease bass volume. Midrange is somewhat grainy, hazy and the lower midrange is a bit subdued. Treble is fairly extended but is a bit subdued, smeared and sizzly. It does a decent job of recovering room ambience and is a somewhat congested. Provides a decent volume level in a small sized room.
