Sound QualityThe Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen) with clock has Fair overall sound quality. Bass has so-so impact is somewhat subdued and lacks deep bass. Midrange is a bit thin, and is hazy, grainy and can sound rough with some content. Treble is smeared and sizzly, somewhat prominent, and the upper treble is muted. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience and is congested. The speaker is monophonic. There was no significant difference between WiFi and Bluetooth sound quality. Provides adequate listening volume for a small sized room but best suited for near field listening and gets compressed sounding at louder volumes.
