Wedding season is here and the race is on to find the perfect gifts for the couples in your life who are about to tie the knot.

Here are some of the top-performing products from Consumer Reports’ tests, including highly rated air fryers and the best multi-cookers on the market.

    CR’s take: The NuWave 37001 air fryer, one of the models on our recommended list, boasts the largest capacity of any model we tested, at 5.8 quarts. Our experts found its electronic controls with preprogrammed settings to be among the easiest to see and use. Plus, the inside and outside of the appliance are a cinch to clean.

    Spend a little less: Take a look at the Farberware HF-919B, a CR Best Buy that is one of the quietest models we’ve tested.

      CR’s take: The 6-quart Breville Fast Slow Pro BPR700BSS is an ace in its pressure-cook mode. But it’s also the best we’ve tested at slow cooking, earning an Excellent rating in that test: Our beef stew turned out tender and ready to eat in 5 hours, and the chili was tender and delicious in 7 hours. Bonus: The ceramic nonstick coating is easy to clean and did not show any scratches after testing.

      Spend a little less: We found the Instant Pot Max to be impressive. This multi-cooker also includes a sous vide feature.

        CR’s take: The 960-watt Breville Sous Chef BFP800XL is one of the few food processors we tested that earns a rating of Very Good for puréeing, so you can be confident that veggies will turn out with a smooth consistency. It’s loaded with accessories. Touch buttons are easy to wipe clean. The warranty is for one year, but the motor is covered for 25 years—the longest in our ratings.

        Spend a little less: The Cuisinart Custom 14 DFP-14BCNY garners an Excellent rating in chopping and is one of the quietest models we’ve tested.

          CR’s take: The Vitamix 5200 scored an Excellent in CR’s icy-drinks tests, meaning it will crank out batch after batch of refreshing margaritas and still be ready to whip up a restorative smoothie the next morning. Perhaps equally important for such a hardworking appliance is that Vitamix, as a brand, is more reliable than makers of most other full-sized blenders, according to the 29,435 members who responded to CR’s blender survey.

          Spend a little less: The 1,100-watt Ninja Smart Screen Duo With FreshVac CT661V is a CR Best Buy.

            CR’s take: The KitchenAid Classic K45SS could make a great gift for a couple who loves to bake. It earns an Excellent rating in our mixing tests, easily handling large batches of chocolate-chip cookie dough—enough for five dozen cookies. Kneading? No problem. Whipping cream is quick.

            Spend a little less: The Hamilton Beach 63326 earned a Very Good score for overall performance.

              CR’s take: The 5.5-quart Le Creuset Signature Dutch Oven tops our ratings. It earns an Excellent rating in our browning tests, the only Dutch oven to do so, and is a breeze to when it comes to cleaning. It weighs 12 pounds, less than most, and has an 8-inch cooking diameter. The loop handles are nice and wide. 

              Spend a little less: The Lodge Dutch oven is a breeze to clean and rated Very Good for baking bread.

                CR’s take: The 12-piece Cuisinart Green Gourmet nonstick set is one of only two sets in our cookware ratings to earn an Excellent rating for cooking evenness. And the 6-quart Dutch oven quickly brings water to a boil.

                Spend a little less: Impressive performance and an appealing price make the Tasty Titanium Reinforced Ceramic set a CR Best Buy.

                  CR’s take: The Breville BOV650XL toaster oven earned a Very Good rating in our reheating test, evenly cooking a single serving of lasagna after 15 minutes of baking. In other words, it won’t take long to get leftovers on the table. Functions include bake, broil, and roast, and dedicated settings for pizza and toasting bagels.

                  Spend a little less: The Cuisinart Deluxe Convection TOB-135N earns solid marks overall, including a score of Excellent for ease of use.

                    CR’s take: A traditional drip coffee maker, the Cuisinart PerfecTemp 14 Cup Programmable DCC-3200 makes plenty of java, thanks to its 14-cup glass carafe. It features programming, auto-shutoff, a cleaning indicator, a permanent filter, a water filter, brew-strength control, and a small-batch setting. This model receives an Excellent rating for brew performance and does well in our other tests, too. 

                    Spend a little less: Check out the Hamilton Beach 12-cup Programmable 49465R. It can brew a decent cup of joe at a fantastic price, and earns a Very Good rating for convenience.

                      CR’s take: A top-notch self-standing cordless stick vacuum, the Bissell Air Ram 1984 scores an Excellent rating on our carpet cleaning test and is just as good at bare floors. It has the longest run time among the cordless vacuums in our labs, with a charge that lasts 47 minutes. Even though it’s a basic model, the Bissell Air Ram has held its place near the top of our ratings for some time.

                      Spend a little less: The Dirt Devil Reach Max Plus does well in every one of our tests, including carpet and bare floors, and earns an Excellent rating for pet hair.

                        CR’s take: The sleek Samsung Powerbot earns high marks, including an Excellent rating for bare floors. It’s also superb at cleaning carpet, able to pick up fine grains of sand and embedded pet hair from carpets. Bottom line: You can spend a lot more on a robovac and not get this level of performance.

                        Spend a little less: The Eufy 30C is extremely quiet and earns an Excellent rating for bare floors.
