Shrimp Sold at Publix, Safeway, and Other Stores Recalled for Possible Radioactivity

A new recall from seafood wholesaler AquaStar is the latest in a series of shrimp recalls issued in recent months due to possible contamination with the radioactive isotope cesium-137.
The affected shrimp was sold at Publix stores under the grocery store’s brand name and the AquaStar brand name. It was also sold at other stores, such as Safeway, Shaw’s, and WinCo, under the brand names AquaStar, Best Yet, and Waterfront Bistro.
