Banquet Chicken Strips Meals Recalled Due to Possible Presence of Plastic
Nearly 250,000 pounds of the frozen entrée have been recalled after one consumer found a piece of plastic in a piece of chicken
Conagra, the maker of Banquet Frozen Chicken Strips, issued a nationwide recall of 245,366 pounds of Banquet Frozen Chicken Strips Meals after a consumer found a piece of plastic in the product. That person reported a mouth injury as a result. No other injuries have been reported.
The chicken strips meals come in 8.9-ounce containers. If you have the product in your freezer, look at the “best if used by” date and lot code on the side of the package. The dates involved in the recall are Dec 11 2024, Jan 01 2024, and Jan 07 2025. The lot numbers are 5009317120, 5009319220, and 5009319820.
