Update: Bissell has recalled more than 3 million Steam Shot Handheld Steam Cleaners due to a burn hazard. Get details of the recall here and on Bissell’s website.

Bissell’s Steam Shot Handheld Steam Cleaner and Sanitizer is a celebrity on #CleanTok. Browse through the hundreds of videos of people using the device and you’ll find satisfyingly gross footage of the dirt and debris this little gadget can pull out of seemingly uncleanable surfaces.

What I found was extremely icky, but after all my testing was done, I had a cleaner space to show for it.
