The Qingping
2 is part of the
Indoor Air Quality Monitors test program at
Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Indoor Air Quality Monitor
models like the 2 are rated on multiple criteria, such as those
listed below.
Display and Alerts:
Models with a high score for display and alerts display measurements and colors on the unit to indicate air quality to the user, and have app notifications so the user can be alerted to bad air quality when they are away from the device.
Monitoring coverage:
Models with a high monitoring coverage score have sensors that detect a wide range of environmental factors.
PM 2.5:
Top scoring models will alert the user quickly when the air quality is poor due to increased inhalable particles with diameters of 2.5 micrometers and less. This includes smoke and haze.
