    About

    The BioLite FirePit+ is constructed from painted steel and it's burn chamber is 9 1/2 inches deep. It is designed to burn wood or charcoal briquets. It comes with a cover. Ash from fires is removed through a sliding door in the bottom of the firepit. The BioLite uses a rechargeable fan unit (with USB charging ports) to blow air into the fire. It also has a chrome-plated grill for cooking food over embers or charcoal briquets. Its design tends to force logs together, so it did better with small loads of wood.
