As a trained chef, I’ve worked in homes, commercial kitchens, and restaurants, and know how perilous a kitchen can be. There’s a risk of burns, cuts, and, surprisingly, bumps and bruises.  

That’s particularly true as we get older, when we may struggle with the heft of a hot pan or lack the dexterity to make intricate cuts with a sharp knife.
