If you or people on your holiday shopping list have pets, early Black Friday deals can be a great opportunity to get something your four-legged friends will love. For instance, if they’re always complaining about how much their pets shed, a new vacuum might be the perfect gift. Or perhaps you can gift them a GPS tracker to give them peace of mind.

We keep tabs on the prices of everything we test to help you know when you can save on products for your pets and yourself. Right now, there are some great prices on pet products we’ve evaluated. With Black Friday still about a month away, we’re not seeing a ton of options just yet, but we’ve gathered what’s already available to help you get started early. We’ll be updating this list all the way up to and through Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so check back for more offers throughout November.

If you’re looking for more ways to save on gifts, you can head over to CR’s Deals Hub to check out all the early Black Friday deals already available.

    Pet Strollers

Costway Petsite 3 in 1 Pet Stroller

Costway Petsite 3 in 1 Pet Stroller

The PetSite 3-in-1 has been as little as $96 in recent weeks, so this isn’t quite the best price, but it’s close. It is multifunctional, easy to assemble and fold, lightweight, and sturdy. It’s also really versatile for travel. It serves as both a car seat and portable carrier, complete with a carrying strap. It has a maximum capacity of 33 pounds, so you could potentially fit two small animals, and the mesh top makes it easy to keep an eye on them. Our evaluator reported that it was easy to assemble, and the stroller moved easily, even on bumpier surfaces.

It’s now back to within just a few bucks of the lowest price we saw this summer, and with the weather cooling off in many areas, there’s no better time to take your less mobile pup (or, if you’re like me, your cat) for fresh air and sightseeing.

    Pet Cameras

    Furbo Dog Camera

    Furbo Dog Camera

The Furbo dog camera is back to its best price. In evaluating the best pet cameras, this was our editors’ top choice, thanks to its aesthetically pleasing design and camera with a wide viewing angle. The ability to choose a voice prompt for the treat toss is a bonus. The device’s basic app features include live view, tossing treats, talking to and hearing your pet, and barking alerts. The nanny cam subscription includes cloud recording, advanced barking alert, Doggie Diary (a video summary of the day that you can choose to save to your device), activity alert, selfie alert, and person alert. And yes, you can still use the Furbo if you have a cat.

This is a great low-cost option to watch your pets from a distance. The Wyze Cam V3 has a nice, wide viewing angle, and with a magnetic base and optional mounting equipment, it’s easy to set it up where you need it.

The basic features that come free with the service provide motion-trigger alerts, sound-triggered alerts, and 12-second video clips. There’s a 5-minute “cool down” period, which means that when there’s nonstop motion, the camera will capture only one 12-second event video every 5 minutes.

The Wyze Cam Plus plan is either $1.99 billed monthly or $15 billed annually ($1.25 per month). That plan comes with a slew of other features, like video fast-forwarding and pet and person detection.

    Pet Feeders

Lukito 3-Piece Lick Mat for Dogs and Cats

Lukito 3-Piece Lick Mat for Dogs and Cats

Pair this lickable food mat with a delectable treat to keep your kitty content and happily occupied. CR’s Mary Beth Quirk spreads Churu purée treats on the mat with the spatula provided and attaches them to her cat Frannie’s food tray with the suction cups on the bottom. “She’ll spend minutes on end cleaning out every nook and cranny, leaving me to work in peace,” she says.

    PetLibro Granary Smart Feeder

    PetLibro Granary Smart Feeder

The PetLibro automatic pet feeder is only $10 off right now. It was down to $60 during the big sales in early October, but we’re keeping it in this list so you can keep an eye on the price and buy it if it gets cheaper for Black Friday.

It was easy to use and. Its app makes setting schedules and dispensing food a breeze. It dispenses accurate amounts of dry food for dogs or cats and has a voice recording feature that allows you to call your pet for meals.

    Pet Treats

    Pawstruck Bully Stick Springs

    Pawstruck Bully Stick Springs

CR’s Lauren Kiesel has a 6-month-old cockapoo who loves these bully sticks. The high-protein springs are meant to occupy pups as they gnaw their way through the treat. “The curliness makes it easier to grasp, longer to eat, and fun,” Kiesel says.

    Pet Toys

Chuckit Classic 26M Dog Ball Launcher

Chuckit Classic 26M Dog Ball Launcher

The Chuckit Classic is ideal for dog owners who are searching for a low-tech ball launcher. It requires no setup and still allows you to get involved in a game of fetch, but takes your natural throwing arm to the next level. The plastic handheld launcher comes with one fuzzy 2.5-inch tennis ball that is stored in its “claw,” which keeps a solid grip on it so that it doesn’t fall out. When you’re ready to play with your pup, you treat the launcher like it’s an extension of your own arm—pulling it back and then launching it forward to release the ball from the claw.

One of the nicest things about this launcher is that you can retrieve balls (including saliva-coated slobbery ones) with the claw itself so that you never have to touch the ball with your hands.

    Water Fountains

    PetSafe Creekside Ceramic Pet Fountain

    PetSafe Creekside Ceramic Pet Fountain

The PetSafe Creekside Ceramic Pet Fountain holds a modest 60 ounces of water, making it the smallest of all the pet water fountains I evaluated. It’s crafted from scratch-resistant ceramic and uses two filters—one carbon and one foam—to keep the water clean and debris-free. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward and intuitive. The fountain is quiet and dishwasher safe, and its larger size makes it a good choice for a multi-pet home.

    Pet Beds

    Le Sure Cat Bed

    Le Sure Cat Bed

A comfortable bed for your pet that can add a fun pop of color to your space sounds like a win-win. CR writer Jodhaira Rodriguez recommends this cat bed, which her cat Frank “barely fits in (because he is a very big boy that I am way overfeeding), but I find him here every time I come home.”

    Purrfectiion Anti-Anxiety Fluffy Cat Bed

    Purrfectiion Anti-Anxiety Fluffy Cat Bed

“I succumbed to Instagram ads for this impossibly fluffy cat bed, and it did not disappoint,” says CR health and science writer Catherine Roberts. “I can’t speak to the anti-anxiety claims, but both our cats love it and play subtle mind games over which one of them gets to claim it for days at a time. I also got one for my friends’ very picky cat, and she turned out to love it, too.” This cat bed is available in four sizes and five colors. “I prefer the unicorn rainbow ice cream color. I wish they made it in human size,” says Roberts.

    Casper Dog Bed

    Casper Dog Bed

Casper, the same company that sells mattresses, designed its Casper Dog Bed, which is typically $139 to $249 depending on size, with two layers of foam construction (including memory foam), a soft nylon-polyester-olefin cover that fits tightly over its rectangular cushion, and raised bolsters around all four sides. While our first impression of the FurHaven bed was “soft” and “cozy,” this pick has a sturdier and more structured appearance and feel. The cover is removable and machine-washable and comes in three sizes to accommodate dogs up to 90 pounds. (We wish it were offered in a larger size to suit really big breeds.) Casper offers a 30-night risk-free trial and a one-year limited warranty, so you have the option of returning the bed if your dog doesn’t take to it.

    Litter Boxes

WoofiGo Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box

WoofiGo Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box

Stainless steel litter boxes have grown popular recently, thanks largely to the nonstick material that is much easier to clean than other traditional litter boxes. I personally own a stainless box for my cats, and it really is a simpler process to get everything disinfected when I change out the litter. And our evaluator had a similar experience, saying it only took a few swipes with soap and water and a generous rinsing to get it shining like new again. The one thing I will say is the sound of your cats digging around is much different (and much louder) when they’re scratching metal versus plastic.

    Poop Scoopers

Arm & Hammer Pooper Scooper Swivel Bin & Rake Dog Poop Scooper

Arm & Hammer Pooper Scooper Swivel Bin & Rake Dog Poop Scooper

This scooper offers a practical and hygienic solution for waste removal, featuring a swivel bin that facilitates easy collection from various surfaces. It includes an adjustable rake and handle, allowing height customization to suit individual needs. It’s already a low-cost investment, and it doesn’t go on sale often, so saving a few extra bucks makes it an even better value.

    Vacuums for Pet Hair

Overall, this Kenmore Intuition BU4050 bagged model is a strong performer that’s also budget-friendly. It has a lift-away feature for portability, suction control, and a small powerhead that’s powerful enough to pick up embedded dirt from carpets. Another plus is the hair eliminator feature on the brush roll that’s designed to prevent hair entanglements.

    GPS Pet Trackers

The Cube, whose price has dropped $13 in the last month or so, is not specifically intended for pet tracking but to help people keep track of a range of possessions, including cars, luggage, and kids’ backpacks, as well as pets. That puts the Cube at a disadvantage as a pet tracker, despite its competent core tracking abilities. The device is relatively large and heavy, but most dog collars won’t fit through its thin slots, so you need to purchase an add-on collar clip for $25. More significantly, the app lacks pet-specific features like fitness and activity tracking and a light beacon for spotting your dog at night.

On the other hand, it does let you set a home “safe zone” and virtual fence and emits a fairly loud sound alert. It’s also very solidly constructed, creates detailed and easy-to-read location histories, and, like the Link, is capable of delivering high-temperature alerts.
