If you’re looking for high-value noise-canceling headphones, the Sennheiser Accentum Plus is a very solid option. They’re amiable companions, with robust bass, neutral midrange, and that sense of lively openness that makes really good headphones fun to listen to. They’re also pleasantly light in weight, and the fit and stability are good for most of our testers, though those with large heads and/or prominent ears may want to double-check the fit. They go on sale fairly infrequentyly for $180, so you’re getting a pretty big discount here.

We found the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine was impressively well-built, especially given its budget-friendly price. It may take some getting used to for beginners, but we found that it produced reliably good espresso shots. This model comes with numerous accessories, including a milk jug for steaming (the only model we evaluated that offered this).

The price at Amazon is exceptional right now, dropping about $25 since Black Friday.

The Our Place Always Pan 2.0 is one of the top-rated nonstick frying pans in CR’s tests. We find that it cooks evenly, and its handle is sturdy and is cool enough to the touch that you won’t need a potholder every time you reach for it. Its nonstick food release is very good, and it earns a very good score in our nonstick durability test. This pan is induction-compatible, the manufacturer says it’s oven safe to 450° F, and it’s on sale for about 25 percent off for Black Friday. 

The Tymo Ring Straightening Comb is down to a new low price, making it a great time to buy if you’ve wanted to try it. CR writer and product tester Jodhaira Rodriguez was impressed with how well and how quickly this comb straightened her frizzy, dry hair. It’s shaped like a traditional hair comb with smooth, horizontal teeth. Because of the smoothness of the bristles, hair isn’t gripped as it passes through the comb; it glides smoothly, just like a comb does, as long as the hair is detangled. It has five temperature settings that range from 266° F to 410° F, and an auto-shutoff feature that turns the straightening comb off after 30 minutes.

A stand mixer like the KitchenAid Artisan Series KSM195PSBK is a prized possession on many bakers’ countertops, and this price makes it easier to add it to yours. This stand mixer earns an excellent score for whipping time in whipped-cream tests, and an excellent score in our mixing tests, where we observe how much a mixer labors when mixing thick chocolate-chip cookie dough. It comes with a stainless steel bowl with a handle, a whisk, and a dough hook. This model can also run attachments like a pasta maker or spiralizer, bought separately.

The Soundlink Max is a modestly sized portable that delivers. The sound quality is satisfying with deep impactful bass, though our testers find that the Max can become harsh at high volumes. The $100 discount looks better when you realize that Bose speakers go on sale less frequently than other brands’ products.

The Amazon Fire TV Cube is a mashup of an Amazon Echo and a 4K Fire TV streamer. Its universal remote control capabilities let you control a host of other compatible A/V gear, including TVs, soundbars, receivers, and even some cable and satellite boxes. New features include HDMI 2.1 connections—one input and one output—for controlling other devices using your voice. (One cool trick is that the Cube will also upscale any content from a source connected to its HDMI input.) Other features include support for WiFi 6E, support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR, and an Off button that disconnects the microphones if you don’t want the device in an always-listening mode. This is the lowest price we’ve seen, about $10 lower than its usual deal price.

If you are curious about switching to a Mac, or perhaps just tired of Windows, the 2024 Mac Mini is the most affordable entry point into the Apple ecosystem, provided you already have a monitor, mouse, and keyboard handy. It is also a fantastic, low-stakes machine for anyone looking to get their feet wet with iOS programming; it runs Xcode (Apple’s app development software) beautifully, making it a great gift for a budding developer or a student. This is only $10 more than the lowest price we’ve ever seen.

The PetLibro automatic pet feeder was easy to use and has an app that makes setting schedules and dispensing food a breeze. It dispenses accurate amounts of dry food for dogs or cats and has a voice recording feature that allows you to call your pet for meals. The price has fallen $16 from its recent low to the best we’ve ever seen.

One of the best features of the Eufy C10 T2292 is its slim design, which enables it to access hard-to-reach areas under desks, beds, and other low-profile furniture. It’s quiet, good at picking up debris from bare, uncarpeted floors, and has brush rolls that are easy to remove and clean. Already competitively priced from the start, this discount represents the lowest price we’ve seen for this model this year.

Glamburg bath towels are very soft, and a set of four for this price is certainly a value. They are on the smaller side, measuring 27 inches wide by 54 inches long, and after 10 washes, they showed some signs of shrinkage along the borders. However, they received high marks in our tests for softness and drying time, making them one of the most highly rated options we tested. There are numerous other colors to choose from, all at similar prices.

The Ring Stick Up Cam (Battery) is an all-around great camera, and it’s currently available at the lowest price we’ve ever seen. It works both indoors and outdoors and gives you activity zones, voice and app control via Amazon Alexa, and alert schedules so that you can silence alerts at certain times of day. In our tests, this Ring camera receives strong scores for daytime video quality, response time, and data security. Cloud video storage and additional features (such as person detection) require a Ring Home subscription.

The portable Blue Pure 211i Max does a terrific job removing dust, pollen, and smoke on its higher setting, but expect a bit of noise. Try it on low, and you’ll have more quiet while still experiencing top-notch results. This model is designed for use in a large space of 350 to 650 square feet and costs about $109 a year to maintain. It also weighs just 17 pounds, making it easy to move around. 

Herschel makes one of our favorite duffel bags, and its carry-on offering, the Heritage Hardshell, also performed well in our tests. The Heritage is a great choice if you’re looking for a less expensive hardshell that will stand out in an airport. With the Herschel tag on the outside, it’ll be easier to recognize than other plain luggage. It also got the highest scores for construction quality and safety, and performed well in our impact resistance test.

This 12-volt Bosch Chameleon cordless drill has enough power to tackle jobs around the house efficiently. It has two speed settings and comes with four nifty attachments that allow you to work easily in all kinds of tight corners and hard-to-reach spots.
