Our Favorite Prime Big Deal Days Sales You Can Still Get

Some of the biggest discounts from yesterday's sale are still available

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days officially ended yesterday, and a lot of the sales are over now. But some of them are still available, including a handful of our favorites. We spent the last two days scouring Amazon, as well as all the other major retailers, to look for deals on products we’ve tested in our labs and evaluated in our homes, and today we’ve reviewed everything we were watching yesterday as well as checked for any new offers. Below you’ll find the best of what’s still on sale for great prices. It certainly helps that Target and Walmart’s sales both run until the end of the week, keeping prices competitive at multiple retailers on lots of great items.

We look at not just how much things cost but how well they work to make sure we’re highlighting the best offers on quality products. We also take into account the typical sale prices, as so often we see deals labeled as exclusive that are the same as always. That doesn’t make them bad deals, but we want you to know exactly how good of a price you’re really getting, so we do our best to give you as much insight as we can.

These products are all featured in this list because they’re at better-than-usual prices, either matching or beating the best we’ve seen all year. But there’s always a chance that those prices could get even better come Black Friday. Sometimes that extra savings is as little as another 5 percent, sometimes it’s more significant, sometimes it remains the same. So it really comes down to whether you want or need something now or if you want to wait until Black Friday.

    Headphones

These sleek true wireless earbuds offer admirable sound quality and noise cancellation, with an effective ambient mode that allows you to hear what’s going on around you, making them a solid choice for walkers and runners. Even at this sale price, they’re not exactly cheap, but they perform so well, you’ll smile every time you pop them in.

The Beats Studio Buds from Beats by Dre are now half off and $40 less than they were before the sale and half off the list price. They deliver great sound quality and superb active noise reduction, which combine elements of in-ear and earbud earphones. These earphones have an isolating design and an ambient sound monitoring feature. They’re best for those who want highly portable earphones that reduce the amount of noise they hear from their surroundings.

JBL Tune 510BT headphones feel like they’re built with quality in mind: They’re cheap, but they don’t seem cheap. This Bluetooth model delivers pretty good sound quality, it has a 40-hour advertised battery life, and we’ve seen it selling at remarkably low prices. The 510BT sits on the ears, which some people find more comfortable than being engulfed by the more common over-ear style. As an extra perk, you can also use them with a cable if you forget to charge them.

    Kitchen

The Ninja DualBrew Pro 12-Cup, which only dipped lower to about $160 last Prime Day, is a dual coffee maker that can brew both ground coffee and K-cup pods. That means it can brew all of 13 preset quantities of coffee, from large servings of coffee in a carafe (from coffee grounds) to individual brew sizes (from either grounds or K-Cups). Our tests show that its first-cup speed is excellent, and it’s pretty quick to brew follow-up cups, too. It performs very well in our overall brew tests, although it’s a little inconsistent in temperature when it comes to single servings of coffee. But it offers four brew styles, including settings for brewing over ice and for brewing tea, and it has a built-in milk frother. (But if you want your milk frothed hot, you’ll have to heat the milk yourself first.)

The 1,800-watt Breville The Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is the crème de la crème of toaster ovens. Yes, it’s pretty pricey, but the baking results, eight rack positions, and temperature range of 80° F to 480° F help to justify the cost. Beyond the basics, it has a convection option, a dehydrate function, and an air fryer that trims the fat from favorite foods.

Tia Mowry’s Dutch oven is at its best price right now. It heats up quickly and bakes bread with a crispy crust, earning top marks on both tests. It’s almost as good at simmering sauces and heats evenly. Best of all, it’s a cinch to clean. It weighs almost 14 pounds and has a cooking surface that’s 8 inches in diameter.

The KitchenAid Architect KHM7210 7-Speed hand mixer comes in five colors, including the brand’s iconic Empire Red, but check before ordering to make sure the color you want is included in the sale. This little handheld is proficient at speedily whipping cream and tackling stiff cookie dough while keeping a lid on the noise level. Our testers find its controls convenient, grip comfortable, and beater insertion a breeze. The model comes with wire beaters and a whisk.

    TVs

The LG OLED65G4SUB, now $200 less than yesterday, is the company’s flagship OLED TV for 2024 and it lives up to that billing. Thanks to a special “MLA” panel, it’s among the brightest OLED TVs we’ve ever tested and that certainly helps the HDR performance. This matches the best price we’ve seen for this set.

Anyone looking for a high-performing 65-inch TV for under $1,000 should consider this set, TCL’s flagship model for 2024, which earns praise for overall picture quality and HDR. It’s been selling for about $1,400, so this is a nice price break, available at several retailers.

This 55-inch Omni-series set offers satisfying overall picture quality, but below-par HDR performance and sound. The main difference from the other Omni-series set listed below is that it doesn’t support Dolby Vision; to get that, you’d need to move up to the 55- and 65-inch versions. It uses the Amazon Fire TV smart system with built-in Alexa for using voice commands.

The 43-inch Amazon B09N6LRBTR is continuing to drop in price, beating the previous best by $20. It’s a new Omni Series set that—unlike older, smaller Omni TVs—supports Dolby Vision HDR. This set does well in our tests, especially for 4K ultra-high definition picture quality, but like most of the Omni TVs we’ve tested, it lacks sufficient peak brightness to produce a compelling high dynamic range experience. This model supports Amazon’s new “ambient” feature, which lets the TV display artwork and photos when you’re not watching TV programming.

    Vacuums

The LG CordZero All-in-One A949KTMS, now just $30 more than during the sale and still a great low price compared to other retailers selling it for $750 or more, is a cleaning powerhouse that scored excellent ratings in our bare floors, edges, and pet hair tests. It also edges out its competitors in cleaning carpets. The vac comes with many conveniences, including an automatic empty feature that cleans the bin after each use. This vac has been on sale before, but this is the lowest price we’ve seen in a while.

If you’re looking for a stick vac that won’t die on you in the middle of cleaning, the Shark Stratos IZ862H Vacuum Cleaner is a top pick for its long run time, which averages around 40 minutes in our tests. It’s impressive at cleaning bare floors and has a self-cleaning mechanism that helps prevent hair from tangling around the brush roll. It’s been available for about 30 percent off the list price, but this Prime Big Deal Days deal is even better.

    Home Goods

The price for the portable Blue Pure 211i Max tends to jump between $244 and $350, making this an excellent time to buy, even if it’s now $10 more than during the sale. It’s even cheaper than it was during the last Prime Day sale. It features an indicator light to alert you when you need to change or clean the filter. It also has a dirt sensor and four speeds. On its higher setting, it’s terrific at removing dust, pollen, and smoke, but expect a bit of noise. Try it on low and you’ll have more quiet while still experiencing top-notch results. This model is designed for use in a large space of 350 to 650 square feet and costs about $109 a year to maintain—just more than half that of the Pure 211+. It also weighs just 17 pounds, making it easy to move around. CR members find Blueair air purifiers highly reliable and are quite satisfied with their purchase.

    Husqvarna Automower 415X

    Husqvarna Automower 415X

Runner-up in our robot lawn mower evaluations, it was slow to mow, but left behind impressive results. The grass in the plot was evenly cut, even though the robot drove through it in a random, disorganized pattern. Through a connected app, you can view a satellite image of your yard with the mower’s path clearly depicted in the image and adjust the blades’ cutting height.

    Tech Gear

The Sonos Ray is a compact 2.0-channel soundbar, and the least expensive Sonos model we’ve tested. Despite its small size, it manages to deliver impressive overall sound. It lacks an HDMI input—you connect it to the TV via the optical digital audio input—but it has built-in WiFi for playing music, podcasts, radio, from your favorite services. It was listed at this price at several retailers during the Amazon Prime Day sale this summer.

Thin, light, and powerful, the 2022 MacBook Air is a great machine, even though there’s a newer MacBook Air for shoppers to consider. The older model provides a compelling combination of performance and battery life. Instead of using an Intel chip, it’s powered by Apple’s own M2 processor, which performs with admirable speed and efficiency.

A smaller size and a lighter weight make this iPad Mini easier to hold for extended periods than its larger brethren. The model has a bright, sharp display with a large viewing angle, meaning you don’t need to hold it dead center in front of your face to see it clearly. The A15 Bionic chip is blazing fast, so web browsing and watching movies seem smooth and stutter-free. The battery life is impressive, too. Other features include a USB-C port and upgraded cameras.

This sleek Samsung smartwatch is now a generation old, but it still has a wide range of sensors for workout, sleep, and heart rate tracking, as well as a bright, colorful display. You can also make calls, right from your wrist. A great fit if you own a Galaxy phone.

    CovertSafe Dog Boots

    CovertSafe Dog Boots

These stylish dog boots feature a waterproof design to keep their paws dry in puddles and traction at the sole for safer walking and protection against hot pavement. Choose from eight sizes and five colors.

    Sleep Accessories

    Utopia Bedding Duvet Insert

    Utopia Bedding Duvet Insert

The Utopia Bedding duvet insert is perfect if you don’t want to spend a ton on a new comforter. I have one that I’ve been using for the past three years and I find it to be lightweight and perfect for warmer nights. And with a good duvet cover, it gets cozy and warm. CR’s reviewer pointed out that it’s not as fluffy as other duvets (it is on the thinner side). The material is synthetic, so it doesn’t allow for the airflow that those made with natural fibers like cotton can provide.

Made of two layers of gel memory foam, Tempur-Pedic’s Tempur-Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling Pillow is top-notch for side-sleeper support but only middling for back-sleeper support. In our resilience test, this pillow successfully maintained its shape. Despite having “breeze” in its name, the pillow doesn’t allow for much airflow, so you may get sweaty sleeping on it. Only the cover is machine-washable.

A solid value pick, this 3-inch topper from BedStory offers a luxe feel, thanks, in part, to its removable quilted cover. Lab tests found that its two-layer gel-infused-foam design registers warmer, and an evaluator noted that it offers a resilient surface with a medium- to medium-soft feel. Highlights include an inner encasement as well as a machine-washable cover that zips down halfway.

    Travel Gear

    Veken Packing Cubes

    Veken Packing Cubes

Veken Packing Cubes, now at their best price, provide great bang for your buck, though they are a few dollars more than we’ve seen recently. This set is in our list of favorites because it has the largest capacity among the cubes we tried, and you get eight different ones to stay organized: four small, medium, large, and extra large, a laundry bag, a shoe bag, a toiletries bag, and an accessories bag. The laundry bag, in particular, is on the larger side, which can be a real asset when you’re on a longer trip.

    Prices may vary by color.

Nishel Travel Toiletry Bag for Women

Nishel Travel Toiletry Bag for Women

The Nishel Travel Toiletry Bag for Women is a hanging organizer, meaning you can hang it on the bathroom door with every compartment laid out in full view. This bag is an antidote to disorganization. It has several compartments, two of which have different-sized mesh pockets. Our evaluator also noted that it has a large capacity but still zips up easily even when full. The low price is reflected in the quality of the material, however, so if you don’t mind the fabric looking a little on the cheaper side (the reviewer noted theirs attracted a lot of dust) this could be a great choice.

Delsey St. Tropez 21" Hardside Carry-On Spinner

This expandable hard-shell carry-on from Delsey is easy to use and performed well in most of our tests—though it suffered in some of our impact tests. Its 10-year limited warranty is not as generous as some other brands’ lifetime warranties, but it’s not as stingy as some others. It comes in pink, navy, black, and graphite.

This is a great price for this carry-on; it was about $215 during July Prime Day sales.

    Smart Home

As the name suggests, the Yale Assure Lock 2 is the successor to the Yale Assure Lock SL. This keyless model performs well in our tests, holding up against kick-ins and attacks from a cordless drill. It’s very easy to set up, connect to WiFi, and control remotely when you’re not home. With the included Yale WiFi Smart Module (an $80 value) it also supports Amazon Alexa, Apple Home/Siri, Google Home/Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings.

The sleek Honeywell Home T9 RCHT9510WF comes with a wireless remote temperature sensor for more precise heating and cooling throughout your home and offers a number of other features, including geofencing, a built-in occupancy sensor, a touchscreen, and vacation scheduling. The thermostat does a great job of automating your heating and cooling (and has great manual control, too). Additional temperature sensors cost $40 each or $75 for a two-pack and are available at AmazonBest Buy, and Honeywell Home.

    Baby Products

The Baby Trend Snap-N-Go Double is a stroller frame that can accommodate two infant car seats. It performed excellently in our safety tests, and it’s as easy to use as the single Snap-N-Go, but it’s a bit harder to maneuver, as double strollers tend to be. It’s easy to fold and unfold, though carrying it folded can be a little awkward. But it’s compatible with a number of car seat brands, and it also meets Disney parks’ stroller size requirements.

The car seat in this Chicco travel system, designed for a maximum weight of 30 pounds, scored extremely well in our tests for ease of use and its fit-to-vehicle belt and latch. It has a great balance of crash protection and maneuverability. As for the stroller, our testers found it very easy to fold up, which can be done with one hand. But they found the handle shape a little uncomfortable, and the front wheels don’t lock. The stroller has a good-sized basket for such a lightweight model and there’s a seatback storage pocket, and the fabric seat cover is removable, so it can be hand-washed.

The Eufy Spaceview baby monitor comes with its own display and handles the video feed locally, so it doesn’t have the privacy and security issues of internet-connected models. Our testers reported that the screen is bright, sharp, and relatively large, and they found it to be the easiest monitor to use.
