Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days is coming Oct. 7 and 8, but you don’t have to wait to start saving. While this two-day shopping event kicks off the holiday sale season, Amazon has already rolled out a slew of early deals. I’ve sifted through many items the retail giant has to offer to pinpoint the best discounts available right now. Amazon’s sales are typically reserved for Prime members, but these deals are also available to nonmembers, at least for now. But you won’t get two-day shipping without a membership.

Plenty of products are being advertised on Amazon’s site and app as early deals, but after a thorough search, we’ve found that a majority are really at the same discounts we see all the time. So we’re only sharing products that are available for better prices than usual and are, in fact, the best you can get.

Amazon always rolls out early deals, and these prices typically stay the same through the sales themselves (even if what you’re seeing now is the same as it was last week or last month). So you might not save more if you wait for Prime Big Deal Days to buy. The main reason you would want to wait is if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for right now. Once the two-day event kicks off, there are often more items available at big discounts. And whenever Amazon has a big sale, many of the other major retailers tend to do the same. Target, for instance, has already announced it will be holding a Circle Week sale Oct. 5-11.

I’ll be joining other experts at CR in monitoring the sale and highlighting the best offers as we find them. You can bookmark this article to see the absolute best of the best, or come back and check out our Deals Hub, where we will be sharing everything we find during Prime Big Deal Days.

If you don’t want to wait or there’s something you need right away, there are great deals under $100 you can shop right now, and likewise for those looking for deals under $50 and $25. Plus, we’re constantly drilling into deals on top products from all the various categories we track, from electronics and home and kitchen to fitness and travel gear.

The Arlo Essential 2K (VMC3050-100NAS) is one of Arlo’s more budget-friendly security cameras, and we’ve never seen the price dip so low for this three-camera bundle. It performs well in our tests and features a built-in spotlight, a siren, and voice/app control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Additional features, such as activity zones, person detection, and cloud video storage, require an Arlo Secure subscription.

    Petlibro Smart Pet Fountain

    Petlibro Smart Pet Fountain

The Petlibro Dockstream Smart Pet Fountain is at a new low price ahead of Prime Big Deal Days. This is a WiFi-enabled device that lets you accurately monitor your pet’s water intake. It holds more than half a gallon of water, and the whole fountain is wireless. It even has a motion sensor, so it runs only when your pet approaches it, making the battery last even longer. The app can also alert you when water levels are low, which is especially nice because the container is opaque. I own the non-smart version and rely on the indicator light (and the pesky sound of the pump struggling to suck up water when the level is too low), which isn’t ideal.

Anyone looking to save some space—or cut down on items to plug into their TV—may want to consider the Roku Streambar SE. It doesn’t go on sale all that often, and almost never less than this. This soundbar that includes a built-in Roku streaming player. Given its small footprint, it probably works best for smaller TVs, not that jumbo-sized set you’ve been eyeing.

    Papillon Neck and Back Massager

    Papillon Neck and Back Massager

The Papillon Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager Pillow is down to a nice low price right now. I’m including it here because it’s a good deal, but also as a heads up for those who don’t need it now—there was a Lightning Deal during Prime Day in July that knocked the price down to $22, and you may get lucky again for Prime Big Deal Days. And if nothing else, it will probably stay at this price for the sale.

It checks a lot of the boxes for being the perfect massager. It’s effective and lightweight. In fact, it’s the lightest of all the electric massagers we tried, according to our measurements. It’s also fairly inexpensive. You can use the massager on different body parts, such as your back, neck, shoulders, legs, and feet. It also offers a good amount of heat.

    Le Sure Pet Bed

    Le Sure Pet Bed

A comfortable bed for your pet that can add a fun pop of color to your space sounds like a win-win, and this one from Le Sure is back down to its best price. CR writer Jodhaira Rodriguez recommends this cat bed, which her cat Frank “barely fits in because he is a very big boy that I am way overfeeding, but I find him here every time I come home.”
