If you’re here, you love a good bargain, and I’m the perfect person to help you find one. I spend every day combing through page after page of retailer sites, checking prices of everything we test here at Consumer Reports. So I know right away when something is at a better discount than usual. There are no major sales for a while, so top-tier deals are a little harder to come by. But that doesn’t mean there are no good savings, and I’ve curated a list of the best offers available right now.
A deal isn’t just about the size of the discount. I’ve chosen these products because they’re not only at great prices, but they’re also top performers in our lab tests and home evaluations. I’m a firm believer in a good deal starting with a high-quality product, so that’s always the No. 1 factor in determining whether something is worth your money. Price is obviously important, too, so I’m taking into account the average price, the typical discounts, and how often an item goes on sale when I determine how impressive a deal really is.
There are other items on sale as well, so if you want to keep hunting for more discounts, head over to the CR Deals Hub, where I share the top offers on everything CR tests, including tech devices like headphones and TVs, kitchen appliances like air fryers and stand mixers, and home goods like air purifiers and lawn care tools.
If you want a sleek, do-everything smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 11 is a solid pick. It can do all the basics well, like tracking your sleep, workouts, steps, heart rate, and more. It also offers a few health features that the SE 3 doesn’t, like the new hypertension monitoring, electrocardiogram readings that can check for an irregular heart rhythm, and a blood-oxygen sensor. The Series 11 with GPS and Cellular is also on sale at Best Buy.
This is the best price we’ve ever seen for the Coop Home Goods Premium Adjustable Loft Pillow. It’s made of shredded memory foam and excels in our tests for support, no matter your size or sleep position. It also keeps its shape well, showing little to no change in height or fluffiness in our resilience tests. Each pillow comes with extra foam, so you can adjust the filling to your liking. The only area where this pillow falls a bit short is in breathability—it sleeps slightly warm.
The budget-friendly GreenPan Reserve Ceramic Nonstick is a 10-piece set with two frying pans, two saucepans, a sauté pan, a stockpot, and four lids. It receives top scores for all our major cooking tasks, including an excellent rating for speed of heating. Its handles are sturdy and stay fairly cool to the touch. The nonstick coating is durable, although some other nonstick pans we tested did better in that assessment.
Depending on the color, you can score a nice discount on this set at Amazon right now.
For all of the popularity of Apple’s AirPods, this is a rather unusual model. Lacking the padded ear tips that plug your ear canals, it doesn’t offer much passive noise cancellation, but it does have reasonably effective noise-canceling tech. And so, you can elect to turn the noise-canceling feature off and hear what’s going on around you, which can be great when you’re on a run or walking on a busy street. In terms of sound and fit, the buds are very similar to the regular AirPods 4, which are also on sale for $89 at Walmart.
We think Edifier S1000W stereo speakers are a bargain even at their regular price. At $100 off, this deal is a no-brainer for a music lover looking for truly impressive sound without breaking the bank. In terms of convenience, the S1000W adds multiroom capability as well as the option of using a more robust WiFi connection to stream your music.
Google’s newest smart thermostat, the Nest Learning Thermostat 4th gen, is 11 percent off at Walmart—and it’s the only place you’ll find it on sale. The thermostat comes with a remote temperature sensor that you can place in another room to balance heating and cooling. It’s one of just a few Matter-compatible smart thermostats on the market, meaning it works with any major smart home system, including Apple Home.
Comtar Mini Bag Sealer
Justin Huynh, a CR product manager, completely reseals his chips rather than clips them closed. “I personally like using these melting sealers because I often don’t come back to snacks for a long time after opening them, so I feel that this gives them a better shelf life,” he says. “I’ve used multiple sealers before, and they’ve never performed consistently, but this one is the closest. I can get a good seal within 2 tries on this one, and it includes a blade on the inside that can cut the excess bag before sealing. This is also by far the smallest one I’ve gotten, which makes it easy to throw into the pantry for easy access.”
If you dislike robovacs that are too noisy, the Eufy RoboVac 11S Max is the choice for you. It’s unobtrusively quiet, and it gets high scores for how well it can navigate through your home and avoid obstacles. While it’s only so-so at cleaning carpets, it’s impressive at picking up debris from bare floors. We like that its profile is slim, so that it can get underneath low furniture without getting stuck. It’s back down to its best price, beating its recent discount by $20.
