If you’re here, you love a good bargain, and I’m the perfect person to help you find one. I spend every day combing through page after page of retailer sites, checking prices of everything we test here at Consumer Reports. So I know right away when something is at a better discount than usual.
And if you don’t see anything you want in this list, don’t worry! Prime Day is coming in June (the exact dates still haven’t been announced, so it’ll probably be toward the end of the month). That means there will certainly be more opportunities to save soon. But in the meantime, I’ve curated a list of the best offers available right now, most of which are at better-than-usual prices, and a few are the best deals we’ve ever seen for those products.
A deal isn’t just about the size of the discount. I’ve chosen these products because they’re not only at great prices, but they’re also top performers in our lab tests and home evaluations. I’m a firm believer in a good deal starting with a high-quality product, so that’s always the No. 1 factor in determining whether something is worth your money. Price is obviously important, too, so I’m taking into account the average price, the typical discounts, and how often an item goes on sale when I determine how impressive a deal really is.
There are other items on sale as well, so if you want to keep hunting for more discounts, head over to the CR Deals Hub, where I share the top offers on everything CR tests, including tech devices like headphones and TVs, kitchen appliances like air fryers and stand mixers, and home goods like air purifiers and lawn care tools.
If you’re looking for high-value noise-canceling headphones, the Sennheiser Accentum Plus is a very solid option. They typically retail for around $180, and they’re currently down to the best price we’ve seen. They’re amiable companions, with robust bass, neutral midrange, and that sense of lively openness that makes really good headphones fun to listen to. They’re pleasantly light in weight, and the fit and stability are good for most of our testers, though those with large heads and/or prominent ears may want to double-check the fit.
The Veick Resistance Bands are just $5 above their best price. They receive top marks in our consistency and exercise range tests, and they’re very good for uniformity. Like the Whatafit Resistance Bands, the Veick set provides a total resistance of 150 pounds when the 10-, 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-pound bands are combined. The bands are made of latex, and the set includes two cushioned handles, two ankle straps, one door anchor, a carrying bag, and an instruction manual.
The GorFanty 10-in-1 MultiPurpose, which typically retails for $100, is an excellent cleaner with a decent steam rate—and it’s back to its lowest price. It takes only 20 seconds for the steam mop to produce steam, and its steam can last for around 10 minutes on its maximum setting. We like that you can adjust the length of the mop to accommodate people of different heights. The mop comes with plenty of accessories, including attachments for cleaning tile grout, clothes, furniture, windows, and carpets.
The Kamado Joe Classic is on sale for the first time in well over a year, and the price recently dropped $150 lower than it’s been in months, making this an opportune time to hit that buy button. It’s our top-rated ceramic kamado and comes packed with features, including a few that make it a stellar smoker. It has an elevated rack and comes with a heat deflector for smoking meats, both of which allow you to easily slow-cook, say, a brisket, without drying it out. It also has adjustable dampers and a locking lid, which help control the flow of air so that you can maintain a low and slow smoke for hours on end. It excelled at slow-cooking a pork shoulder in our tests, as well as at cooking a thin-crust pizza over high heat, helping it earn a rating of Excellent for cooking performance.
This DeWalt DCD701F2 drill is $40 less than it was a few weeks ago. It has excellent power and above-average speed—plus, its handling is very good, too. It won’t take long to charge, and it won’t be especially noisy while working. This drill weighs 2.4 pounds, making it lighter than average. That said, it has a plastic chuck and doesn’t come with any bit storage.
The Farberware Millenium stainless steel set is a great, low-cost option if you’re interested in moving away from nonstick cookware. Not only does Wayfair’s price beat every other major retailer by at least $30, but it’s $20 less than it has been recently, making this one of the better deals you’ll find during Way Day. The reason this is CR Recommended? It gets a perfect score in cooking evenness, and it gets nearly as good scores in all our other tests. The only places it falls a little short are handle sturdiness and sauce simmering.
The GE Profile Opal 2.0 Nugget Icemaker is at its best price, but only in the Black Stainless colorway. This is one of the best options on the market, according to CR’s tests. GE claims it can produce up to 24 pounds of ice a day (our testing did not last long enough to hit the max). It’s also among the quieter icemakers we tried. This slick-looking model makes the nugget type of ice and does it faster than all other models, which earned it the only top score for speed. It also has the highest water capacity and features a large, removable plastic water reservoir, which means fewer refills. It is the priciest in our ratings, making this discount even more important if you’re thinking of buying it.
Ice Bath
Pod Company Pro IcePod 2.0
This portable ice bath from Pod Company is now $20 less than I’ve ever seen, making it an even better deal than usual. It’s a great option if you’re thinking of investing in something like this to keep at home. In our evaluations, it was easy to set up and take apart. It is smaller than the comparable Cold Pod XL (which costs a bit more), but otherwise, the two are very similar. So it may be better suited for smaller individuals. For example, one of our evaluators was around 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds and found this one to be a bit cramped compared to the other model. That said, if you don’t mind close quarters and like the price to test out ice baths at home, this could be just what you’re looking for.
This Black+Decker BEBL7000 leaf blower is $10 less than it’s been for months. It has a well-performing built-in vacuum function, making it easy to gather leaves into the included collection bag for composting or easy discarding. The bag connects using a flexible tube, making it easy to handle and maneuver. It’ll move leaves with very respectable efficiency (up to 250mph), and leave little impact on your ears and neighbors. You’ll have multiple speeds at your disposal to tackle any job.
The LG LREL6321S single oven is an exceptionally strong performer at a great price, especially since it’s $50 less than it was during the last big sale. It heats fast and simmers steadily on top of the stove, earning an excellent performance rating in our cooktop high and low tests. It also bakes and broils evenly. There’s no convection mode, but you’ll find a warming element, along with two high-powered burners on the cooktop. LG earned high reliability ratings for its electric ovens based on our member surveys.
